It all started as a way to get through a rough beginning of COVID-19. My partner and I wanted to find a way to spend time together while still having fun outdoors with the pandemic. It took me a minute to figure out what we could do with the lockdown in place, but then I realized that tie-dye was possible. I've done it in high school once, so I figured I'd bring it back because I remembered that it was fun to do. Buying the kits from the crafts store happened to not work as well as much as I anticipated. If I was going in on buying all the items for the craft, I felt like I had to go in on getting great products. I found Dharma Trading Co., and I placed orders for their acid dyes and materials. I found a couple shirts to start from a crafts store, figuring that we'd only make maybe two or three shirts each.
Later on, after finding that I really liked doing every aspect of doing the tie-dying, I decided to purchase even more dye. My mom realized just how much that I liked doing this, and suggested that this may be something that's more than a hobby. It didn't take much convincing for me to believe that she was right. After several years of figuring out what I should and shouldn't do with my tie-dyes, and moving from one coast to the other, I'm ready to start my next journy and opening my Etsy...FINALLY!
If you have read all of this, I am happy you are all here in support! It truly has been a long time coming, and I'm truly excited to see where this goes! Thank you!
